Meet Duke, a majestic 2-year-old XL Bully with a heart as big as his 120-pound frame. This gentle giant has had a tough journey—abandoned by his previous owners when they moved away, leaving him and his brother behind. Despite it all, Duke’s resilient spirit and kind demeanor have remained unshaken, and he’s ready to start fresh with a loving family who can give him the stability and care he deserves.
Duke is the epitome of calm and quiet. With his laid-back personality and sweet nature, he’s a great companion for someone seeking a loyal, affectionate, and easygoing friend. He’s crate-trained and enjoys his downtime, making him a perfect fit for someone who values both companionship and a relaxed atmosphere. While Duke would love to be the only pet in your home, he might also do well with one friendly and compatible dog.
If you’re ready to open your heart and home to a true gentle giant, Duke is waiting to meet you. Apply today to give this deserving boy the second chance he’s been dreaming of!
Meet Charlotte, a stunning Black Beauty of a dog, is a 1 yr old female Belgian Malinois/Shepherd mix weighing a petite 45lbs.
Mal/Shepherds are known for their keen instincts, intelligence and trainability, and Charlotte is no exception. She was rescued from the South La shelter where she waited patiently for many months, with outstanding notes from the volunteers and handlers on her amiability with other dogs, her quick connection to people and her balanced temperament.
Charlotte is thriving and loves to play with other dogs, especially at the dog park. She seems to enjoy all people and children, and prefers to stay close and connected to her people in her foster home. She knows a few basic commands already and is sure to be a quick study for many more. She is quiet, sleeps peacefully in her crate all night, and shares toys well with her foster dog sibling. However, she’s a bit too interested in cats, so a home without them would be best. She enjoys long walks and handles nicely on the leash.
Charlotte will be a loyal and loving companion for an active household who will appreciate her breed and the intelligence that comes with it.
Meet Flower, a vibrant and affectionate 3-year-old Doberman. Weighing in at 50 pounds, but working on filling out, Flower is the perfect blend of playful energy and sweet affection, making her an ideal companion for an experienced big dog owner who loves outdoor adventures and cozy evenings alike.
Flower’s journey is one of resilience and hope. She was found underweight, wearing a medical cone, and suffering from wounds on her body. A dedicated volunteer couldn’t bear to leave her so rescued her from the shelter. Flower was immediately taken to the vet, started on the right medications, and began her path to recovery. Now in a caring foster home, she’s healing beautifully and showing just how special she is.
Flower’s playful spirit shines through in her love for carrying toys everywhere she goes and her delightfully soft nibbles when she’s feeling extra happy. She absolutely adores neck scratches and will quickly become your best friend with a little love and attention. Already crate-trained and familiar with basic commands, Flower has a great foundation and is eager to learn even more in her forever home. While Flower is still decompressing, we’re unsure of her interactions with other dogs so she may be better suited to a solo dog household.
Flower is ready to start fresh and embark on a new adventure with a family who will cherish her.
