Dixie is an 8-year-old Yorkie x Terrier mix, weighing just 12 pounds — the perfect little companion for snuggles and adventures alike. This sweet, spunky girl has been through a lot in her life but has blossomed into a loving and loyal companion. Dixie’s journey started with a rough beginning, but her resilient spirit and gentle heart have always shone through. She’s a devoted lap dog, happiest when snuggled up on cool evenings or sharing quiet moments with her favorite humans.

She has a special bond with her family and even has a unique way of “talking” with her dad that only he seems to understand! While Dixie can be a little nervous around big trucks and especially garbage trucks, she has made great progress with time and patience. She would thrive in a calm, loving home where she can feel safe and cherished. Dixie loves her walks, exploring new places, and most of all, being close to the people she loves.
