Abi is a 1-year-old spayed female spaniel mix, around 25-30 pounds. A veterinarian saved her off the streets of Mexico and she is now safe and decompressing in the United States. Abi’s shy at first and will need continued confidence building and socialization to be the happiest girl she can be. She has been around dogs and cats, though she is inclined to follow her special person around in lieu of hanging with other pets. Abi would be best with adults or older/calmer kids who can help her build trust.

Chipper is thriving in her foster home and loves to play with other dogs, especially at the dog park. She seems to enjoy all people and children, and prefers to stay close and connected to her people in her foster home. She knows a few basic commands already and is sure to be a quick study for many more. She is quiet, sleeps peacefully in her crate all night, and shares toys well with her foster dog sibling. However, she’s a bit too interested in cats, so a home without them would be best. She enjoys long walks and handles nicely on the leash.
