Meet Chase! An adorable, playful, exceptionally loving 8 month old lab-mix, who is ready and eager to find his forever family and share a life of adventures and kisses! Chase is currently around 60 pounds, and will be a large dog when he’s full grown.
Chase was sadly abandoned with his brother and both ended up in a high kill shelter. While Chase’s brother was adopted, Chase remained until a Good Samaritan swopped him up hours before he was set to be put down, and thank goodness we did!
Chase’s sweet, curious, and good-natured disposition makes him irresistible to people and playful puppies alike. Chase is house-trained and is learning his manners, both in the house, and on walks, and is already responding to new commands and respecting boundaries!
Chase will do well in a home with either other dogs or as a single dog with an active family. Similarly, Chase will thrive with a family who is familiar with big dogs, puppy and grown alike, or who is ready and willing to learn and continue his training. Chase is his best self when he has at least a couple of walks a day, some time to play, and lots of snuggles. Posey is perfection! She is an 8-9 month-old “pocket pittie” who’s ready to start her happily-ever-after! This petite Staffordshire mix, weighing in at just 33 lbs, was rescued from the South LA shelter. She came to us with a few patches of missing fur from fleas, but after some TLC and veterinary care, Posey is now fully treated, perfectly healthy, spayed and ready for her forever home.
Posey absolutely ADORES people, kids and adults. In addition, her heart truly lights up around other dogs— she’d love a dog sibling to play with or to have puppy playdates with others frequently. Quiet, playful and incredibly cuddly, Posey is a loving and happy soul who’s happiest with her people playing with toys, going on walks, or accompanying you to the brewery, shopping at the Spectrum or anywhere you go as she’s SO easy! She’s doing so well with house training and is great on the leash. So far she hasn’t barked at all in her foster home, and is completely non-reactive on leash. She is a huge love and angelic spirit who even loves to wear pajamas, her pretty pearls, and be babied! Posey is a really good dog who would love a home where she is a member of the family and included in most things. Everyone stops to greet her as she is so pretty and sweet and she loves to be loved.
