Meet Poppy is a 6-7 year old sweet Golden Retriever, weighting about 55lbs.
This incredibly sweet girl was dumped by her owners after suffering neglect at their hands, neglect that led to multiple medical issues such as eye and ear infections. Thanks to our amazing vets, these are all cleared up now!
She also has a condition called spondylosis, which is essentially age related spinal pain. This is under control now, but she will need anti-inflammatories daily to keep it from flaring up and slowing her down.
Despite all she has been through, Poppy loves other dogs and cats, and she absolutely adores all people. She is a friendly and affectionate pup, and she is so deserving of her forever home!
