HUGO

Meet Hugo, our incredible “Warrior of the Year,” who has survived more than any pup should and come out on the other side with a heart full of love. This 1-year-old, 25-pound French Bulldog was abandoned in terrible shape, testing positive for Parvo, battling a respiratory infection, and suffering from a severely infected eye. Sadly, he was at immediate risk of euthanasia, and his future looked bleak—until he received a second chance.

Our community rallied behind Hugo, donating generously for his urgent medical needs, which included surgery to remove his ruptured, painful eye. Since then, Hugo has healed beautifully and in now in his foster home, showing us all just how resilient he is. Despite everything, he’s a calm, sweet soul who adores people, is wonderfully easygoing with other dogs, and remains the absolute picture of Frenchie charm.

Though Hugo now sees the world through one eye, his vision is sharp, and he gets around perfectly well. He craves companionship and will be a devoted friend to anyone willing to open their heart to him. If you’re looking for an incredible companion who will show you every day just how much love he has to give, Hugo is ready and waiting to become your forever family member.
