Meet Charlee a gorgeous 4-year-old Bloodhound has been through so much, but her resilience and loving heart shine through. Found by a Good Samaritan and taken to a high-kill shelter, Charlee’s owners were contacted—only to say they wouldn’t be coming for her. Shortly after her rescue, she became critically ill, suffering from an untreated stomach blockage and a severe respiratory infection. It was a battle for her life, but Charlee pulled through, and now she’s ready for her forever home!

Charlee is a gentle soul who starts off a bit shy but warms up with love and patience. She’s good with people and kids she knows, enjoys her walks, and has previously lived with two Labs and two cats. She’s a big fan of car rides, tasty treats, and—once she feels safe—snuggling up with her favorite humans.
