Meet Chipper, a stunning Black Beauty of a dog, is a 1 yr old female Belgian Malinois/Shepherd mix weighing a petite 45lbs.
Mal/Shepherds are known for their keen instincts, intelligence and trainability, and Chipper is no exception. She was rescued from the South La shelter where she waited patiently for many months, with outstanding notes from the volunteers and handlers on her amiability with other dogs, her quick connection to people and her balanced temperament.
Chipper is thriving in her foster home and loves to play with other dogs, especially at the dog park. She seems to enjoy all people and children, and prefers to stay close and connected to her people in her foster home. She knows a few basic commands already and is sure to be a quick study for many more. She is quiet, sleeps peacefully in her crate all night, and shares toys well with her foster dog sibling. However, she’s a bit too interested in cats, so a home without them would be best. She enjoys long walks and handles nicely on the leash.
Chipper will be a loyal and loving companion for an active household who will appreciate her breed and the intelligence that comes with it.
