We like all dogs, but have put in hard wood floors. I worry that a large dog will scratch the floor, but could use your opinion. We did not have the wood floors when we had our Great Dane. We also are looking for a smaller dog maybe to adopt.

They will access to both outside and inside.

I have a dog bed for them in the house

We would keep the dog downstairs in the house most of the time. The dog could sleep on a bed in my sons room at night.
