Meet Yogi!
This handsome, sweet-natured boy is friendly, playful, and full of personality. Once he feels comfortable, his curious and fun-loving side really shines — he loves being outside, going on walks, and keeping a watchful eye on everything around him.
Like many Shibas, Yogi is smart, independent, and marches to the beat of his own drum. He appreciates quiet companionship and his alone time just as much as a good adventure. He does well with other dogs and has made wonderful progress building his confidence in new situations — and he continues to grow every day. Yogi hasn't been around young children, but given his friendly nature and sweet temperament, he may do well with them.
Yogi is pretty well house-trained, though he'll need to be let out promptly in the mornings to avoid accidents. He's also working on commands, but true to his Shiba spirit, he'll follow them on his own terms.
Yogi will thrive with an adopter who will give him the time and space to settle in, and who will meet him with kindness, patience, and consistency. In return, he will reward you with loyalty, laughter, and a whole lot of personality.
