Xena's journey to us was a challenging one; she was found abandoned in a cage with her sister at a homeless encampment, left for days without food or water. A compassionate good Samaritan rescued them, bringing them to safety at the Animal Friends of the Valleys shelter. While her sister found a loving home, Xena endured over 30 days at the shelter and faced the prospect of euthanasia.
Despite her difficult past, Xena's spirit remains unbroken. She is an incredibly sweet and playful pup who absolutely thrives on companionship. Xena is good with children, showcasing a gentle and patient demeanor. She also gets along well with other dogs, always eager to make new friends and join in on playtime. Her resilience, affectionate nature, and joyful enthusiasm for life make her an extraordinary companion.
