Lydia was found near death in Bakersfield - dehydrated, malnourished, and with painful burns on her paws. Thanks to a quick-thinking Good Samaritan and dedicated veterinary care, she pulled through and is now thriving in her foster home.
She's learning that the world isn't such a scary place after all. Lydia enjoys meeting new people (including gentle, dog-savvy kids) and is making great progress with house training. She's generally friendly with other dogs, but prefers a bit of personal space at times - typical puppy boundaries as she builds confidence.
Lydia is sweet, curious, and ready to blossom with a patient, loving family by her side. She'll thrive in a home that can continue to show her what it means to be safe, cared for, and adored.
