Found abandoned in an alley in Los Angeles, this sweet 35-lb mixed breed girl had a rough start — but you'd never know it. Colleen is one of those dogs who just makes you smile. She's full of life, full of love, and absolutely full of energy. In the best possible way.
Colleen is currently thriving in board and training, and she's been a total star. She's great with other dogs in playgroups, already working on place training, sit, and leash manners, and because she's incredibly treat motivated and eager to please, she picks things up fast. She'll need a little more practice with her leash manners — the outside world is just so exciting when you're Colleen — but she is making great progress every day.
She's a puppy at heart through and through. She'll zoom around the yard, bound toward you with pure joy, and jump with excitement just because she's happy to see you. But give her a quiet moment and she'll melt right into your arms for cuddles. Yes, she contains multitudes.
Colleen would thrive with a patient owner who has the time and enthusiasm to continue her training and grow alongside her. She's still working on potty training, so consistency at home will go a long way.
