Meet Charlie — a happy, tail-wagging soul who's worked hard to become the confident, loving dog he is today.
Charlie was one of six puppies who missed out on important early socialization, leaving him unsure of new people, places, and experiences. Wanting to give him the best chance at a happy future, DAWG stepped in to provide professional training and boarding, where Charlie could learn the skills needed to become a confident young dog.
When Charlie first arrived at training, he was described as tense and quiet. Over the past several months, however, he has made tremendous progress. He now handles new environments well, enjoys meeting other dogs, and approaches life with so much more confidence.
While Charlie can still be a little shy when meeting new people, he quickly forms strong bonds after a visit or two — especially with the ladies! He genuinely wants to connect with his people, making him a loyal and devoted companion. Charlie would likely thrive in a home with another friendly dog who can help continue building his confidence.
Charlie is described as a high-energy, cool, and amazing dog with so much potential. He is looking for a foster, foster-to-adopt, or forever home. To help ensure a successful transition, potential fosters or adopters are encouraged to meet Charlie at least once before bringing him home.
Could you be the person who helps Charlie take the next step toward the life he deserves?
