Meet Daphne, the sweetest little survivor with a heart full of love and joy.
Rescued after being hit by a car, Daphne is making a beautiful recovery following hip and knee surgery.
She’s learning to walk again and grows stronger every day in her foster home. Despite everything she’s been through, Daphne’s spirit shines — she’s playful, silly, and full of puppy happiness. Tug-of-war is her favorite game, and she loves playing with her foster dog siblings. She does great with other dogs and would thrive with a canine companion.
Daphne is wonderful with children and is affectionate, gentle, and loving. She is housetrained and working on crate training. She’s smart, eager to please, and already learning commands quickly. Like any puppy, she has a little mischief (watch those shoes!), but her sweet personality more than makes up for it.
At this time, Daphne does have activity limitations while her leg continues to heal. She’ll need short, calm walks only — no running or jumping on furniture yet. She will thrive in a patient, loving home committed to her continued recovery and long-term care.
If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion with an inspiring story, Daphne is ready to meet you.
