Meet Nutmeg, a devoted little mama who has just finished raising her seven beautiful puppies and is finally ready for a forever home of her own.
Shortly after arriving in rescue (after being dumped along with another dog), we discovered she was pregnant, and she spent the past three months in full “mama bear” mode—loving, protective, and completely dedicated to her babies. Now that her puppies are grown, Nutmeg is beginning to relax and truly blossom.
Nutmeg has become a social butterfly! She loves people, big and small, and does well with other dogs and cats! She is affectionate, gentle, and incredibly sweet. She is house-trained, crate-trained, sleeps quietly through the night in her crate, and is very treat motivated—making her both a wonderful companion and eager learner.
Nutmeg has given so much of herself raising her puppies. Now it’s her turn to be cherished, spoiled, and loved in a home where she can simply be someone’s beloved companion.
